The mountain resort Strážné is located in the center of Krkonoše, 7 km from Vrchlabí and 16 km from Špindlerův Mlýn, at an altitude of 800 m.
They lie between the eastern slope of the Žalský hřbet through the slope of Planina to the Liščí hora. The Lom Strážné Natural Monument includes a former limestone quarry under Hříběcí boudy, SSV from the village of Strážné at the southwest foot of the Světlý vrch, about 5 km south of Špindlerův Mlýn.
It offers many interesting activities to its visitors during the summer season. It is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling.
